With dimensions of 330mm x 420mm, the F3 paper size has a total surface area of 0.1386 square meters. As part of the regional F series used in China and Southeast Asia, F3 fits right between the larger F2 format and the PA3 size. Maintaining the landscape orientation and 4:3 aspect ratio typical of traditional East Asian paper formats, F3 exceeds PA3 in size while offering a more horizontal shape. While it lacks distinct alternate names, the F3 dimensions fall between Royal and Broadsheet (350 x 430mm) paper formats. The considerable area makes F3 well-suited for uses like oversized brochures, artistic prints, office flyers and forms demanding substantial horizontal space. As the F series aims to populate gaps left by limited ISO standard sizes, F3 itself does not have a deeply rooted history but rather serves its straightforward purpose as an intermediate grade between F2 and PA3.
