Canadian Paper Sizes

The Canadian paper size standard CAN 2-9.60M defines the dimensions for the P series of Canadian paper sizes, from P1 to P6. These sizes correspond closely to the US ANSI standard paper sizes, but are rounded to the nearest 5mm. The P1 size is the largest at 22 x 33.9 inches, going down to the smallest P6 size of 4.2 x 5.5 inches. The P series includes two additional smaller sizes below the ANSI A size paper. However, the Canadian P series does not have a consistent aspect ratio between sizes, making scaling and enlarging/reducing between sizes more difficult. Overall, the Canadian P paper sizes are very similar to their ANSI counterparts, with a few additional sizes defined.
