The P1 paper size has dimensions of 560mm x 860mm, which converts to 22 inches x 33.9 inches. This gives the P1 size a total surface area of 0.48 square meters. The P1 paper size was defined under the Canadian CAN 2-9.60M paper standard as the largest of the P series of sizes, and is very similar to the US ANSI A standard paper size. The P1 size has also occasionally been referred to as PA1. Due to its large dimensions, the P1 size is suitable for uses that require a lot of space, such as posters, large brochures, presentations, graphic design, and engineering and architectural plans.
