The P2 paper size has dimensions of 430mm x 560mm, which converts to 16.9 inches x 22 inches. This gives the P2 size a total surface area of 0.24 square meters. The P2 paper size was defined under the Canadian CAN 2-9.60M paper standard as the second largest of the P series of sizes, and is very similar to the US ANSI B standard paper size. The P2 size has also occasionally been referred to as PA2. Due to its generous dimensions while still being easily manageable, the P2 size is suitable for uses that require substantial space without being overly large, such as smaller posters and charts, magazines and mediums-sized brochures, visual presentations, graphic design layouts, and some architectural and engineering plans. The P2 provides significant area while still allowing printability. Overall, the P2 Canadian paper size serves well as a spacious format for aesthetic documents and plans needing more room than standard sizes.
