The SIS G0 paper size is defined in the Swedish standard SIS 01 47 11 with dimensions of 841 mm x 1189 mm, resulting in a surface area of 1.0 square meter. Also known as G-noll or 1 meter paper, it is one of the G paper sizes used in the Swedish system. The unusually large G0 size was created to enable efficient handling of wide engineering and architectural drawing sheets without folding, serving Swedish industry. Smaller G paper sizes are defined by systematically halving the sheet dimensions down to G10 at 52 x 74 mm. Despite its specialized purpose, Swedish G paper enjoys some popularity outside Sweden among artists and designers for its flexibility in creating large-format visual pieces.
