The A6 card is another entry in the international standard ISO 216 paper sizes used globally outside the US. With dimensions approximately 4.13 inches wide and 5.83 inches high, the A6 provides a surface area of 24 square inches. This makes it very close in size to the 4x6 inch index card popular in America. As with other A-sizes, the A6 was originally defined in metric units (105x148 mm). The added space compared to A7 allows more room for detailed notes, lengthy flashcards, and other applications where portability and writing capacity are key. As part of the A-series, the A6 offers modular scalability for efficient international printing and design work. This versatile index card size has been widely adopted for notebooks, sticky notes, recipe cards and more. The A6 hits a sweet spot between compact size and expanded writing space.
