Double Elephant

The Double Elephant paper size has even larger dimensions of 26.7 inches (678 mm) wide by 40 inches (1016 mm) high, yielding an exceptionally sizable total surface area of 1068 square inches. As its name indicates with the "double" modifier, Double Elephant provides twice the area of the already substantial Elephant paper size. The considerably expansive spread of Double Elephant sheets have made them well-suited for specialized large format documents and presentations warranting copious space to incorporate fine details and wide-spanning subject matter. Some example applications include professional extra-wide posters and advertisements, oversized engineering and architectural plans, huge financial tables and charts, massively enlarged artwork and maps, supersized anatomical sketches, and antiquarian record books chronicling extensive dynastic family histories. Although not commonplace, Double Elephant has endured in production for specialized clientele needing to visually render unusually ample subjects in great detail across dramatic horizontal and vertical dimensions, hearkening back to an era when custom oversized paper was made without size limitations.
