The Double Demy paper size measures 22.5 inches (572 mm) wide by 35.5 inches (902 mm) high, giving it a very large total surface area of 798 square inches. As its name indicates, Double Demy sheets provide twice the area of the Demy size, offering an exceptionally spacious format for bigger presentations, documents, posters and artistic pieces needing ample room to incorporate substantial details. With its dramatic width and length dimensions, Double Demy lends itself well to applications like oversized engineering diagrams, expansive architectural plans, huge educational displays, big multi-panel artwork, supersized advertisements and any subject matter too large for standard sizes yet not quite needing the massiveness of the antique/archival group of Imperial sheet sizes. While not as ubiquitous as some other Imperial formats, Double Demy has filled a niche for generous-sized modern large format documents not requiring the extreme proportions of antique sheets.
