SRA3

The SRA3 paper size is one of the smaller formats in the ISO 217 series of supplementary raw, untrimmed paper sizes. It measures 320 mm x 450 mm, giving it a surface area of approximately 0.144 square meters. The SRA designation refers to 'supplementary raw format A', meaning it is oversized from the standard A3 dimensions of 297 mm x 420 mm. The larger SRA3 size is well-suited for printing projects needing substantial bleed allowance. Typical uses include oversized brochures, catalogs, presentation handouts, and special art prints. After printing, SRA3 sheets are commonly trimmed down to A3 size for binding or use. The 1:√2 aspect ratio enables efficiently printing 4 pages on a single SRA3 sheet. As part of the ISO 217 standard finalized in 1975, SRA3 was established as a supplementary untrimmed format.
